Position Summary
Brighter Stronger Foundation is a dedicated outpatient clinic committed to providing high-quality mental health services to individuals and families. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Offer crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary
- Educate clients and families on mental health conditions and community resources
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Minimum Requirements for Success
- LGPC/LCPC, LGFT/LCMFT, LMSW/LCSW-C
- Active Maryland license
- Interest in providing a minimum of 8 sessions/week
- Access to high-speed internet
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 points
- Satisfactory CJIS report.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Confidentiality and Privacy Policies
